Anuta Grapes

Anuta is a high yield, table grape variety known for its high survival rate, fast growth, and excellent flavor.

History

Anuta was bred by an amateur breeder, V.N.Krainov, in a successful endeavor to acquire improved characteristics in grape varieties. The Anuta was obtained by crossing Kishmish Radiant and Talisman grapes, also known as Kesha 1, and inherits the best features from these “parent” cultivars.

Characteristics

Appearance: Anuta grapes boast large berries, similar in size to small apricots or plums, weighing around 15-25g. The grapes form in large cone-shaped clusters that weigh up to 1.5 kg.

Taste: Anuta berries are dark pink and famed for their exquisite flavor, exhibiting a blend of sweetness inherited from Kishmish Radiant, combined with a slight sourness from the Talisman parent. The fruits also contain four seeds each.

Growth: The highly branched bush of the Anuta can reach up to 3 meters in height. The first fruits appear about 5 years after the seedling has taken root.

Resistance: This grape variety showcases good frost resistance, capable of withstanding temperatures as low as -23°C, making it suitable for cultivation in both southern and cooler regions like central Russia and Ukraine.

Yield: Anuta grapes are extremely fruitful and have a medium-late ripening type, with the traditional harvest time being the second half of September.
